Argyll forest painting 2018 is a work from a recent series of paintings based on a trip the artist made to see some forests and hills in the Scottish highlands in 2017. This particular painting is loosely based on source images photographed in the Argyll forest in western Scotland, continuing the artists long standing engagement with using art to represent the natural environment.
